Coaching Is Not Therapy or Mental Health Treatment

Desert Roots Wellness provides life coaching, empowerment coaching, and personal transformation coaching. Coaching is a forward-focused, goal-oriented practice. It is not a form of psychotherapy, counseling, psychiatry, or any other licensed mental health service.

Samka Keranovic and Tyler LaBarge are certified coaches. They are not licensed therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, or medical professionals. Coaching does not involve the diagnosis, assessment, or treatment of any mental health condition, psychological disorder, or medical illness.

If you are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, eating disorders, suicidal ideation, or any other condition that may require clinical treatment, please seek support from a licensed mental health professional or physician. Coaching Is Not a Substitute for Professional Advice

Coaching is not a substitute for legal advice, financial advice, accounting services, medical advice, or any other professional service requiring a license. Nothing communicated in coaching sessions, written materials, digital products, or any other Desert Roots Wellness content should be construed as legal, financial, medical, or psychiatric guidance.

You are responsible for your own decisions. Desert Roots Wellness coaches help you gain clarity, identify patterns, and develop frameworks for your own choices — but all decisions remain yours alone.

Results Are Not Guaranteed

Testimonials, case studies, and client stories shared by Desert Roots Wellness reflect individual experiences. They are not guarantees of specific outcomes. Results from coaching vary based on individual effort, circumstances, readiness, and consistency of engagement.

Desert Roots Wellness offers two distinct service guarantees, each with clearly defined conditions and a bounded remedy:

• 30 Day Reset — Completion Guarantee: Upon full completion of the 30-day program as designed, if you feel no meaningful shift, Desert Roots Wellness will provide one complimentary private coaching session, to be scheduled within 30 days of completion.
• 90-Day Coaching Package — Completion Guarantee: Upon full completion of the 90-day coaching package (sessions attended, homework completed, agreed work participated in), if you feel no meaningful progress toward your stated coaching goals, Desert Roots Wellness will provide two additional private coaching sessions at no charge, to be scheduled within 30 days of your program end date.

Neither guarantee constitutes a promise of any particular psychological, career, financial, relationship, or health outcome. They are service remedies — a commitment to continued support under defined conditions, not a guarantee of specific life results.

Scope of Coaching Services

Desert Roots Wellness coaching is designed for individuals who are functionally stable and seeking support for personal growth, professional development, boundary-setting, burnout recovery patterns, decision-making clarity, and life alignment. It is not appropriate as a primary intervention for individuals in acute psychological crisis or who require clinical treatment.

If at any point during our work together it becomes apparent that your needs fall outside the appropriate scope of coaching, Desert Roots Wellness will refer you to the appropriate professional resource. We do not continue coaching relationships where clinical support is clearly indicated.

Content and Digital Products

Blog posts, digital toolkits, the 30 Day Reset Program, Blueprint Library, and all other educational materials produced by Desert Roots Wellness are intended for general informational and self-development purposes only. They do not constitute professional mental health, medical, legal, or financial advice. Use of these materials does not establish a coaching relationship or a duty of care.

Confidentiality

All client information shared in coaching sessions is treated as confidential. Exceptions include situations required by law — for example, where there is an immediate risk of harm to the client or others. This confidentiality obligation does not extend to publicly shared testimonials or case studies for which the client has provided explicit written permission.
