These policies exist to respect everyone's time, energy, and commitment to the process. Please read them before booking.
Our Guarantee
We stand behind this process completely — because we have lived it ourselves.
If you show up consistently, complete your homework, and genuinely apply yourself to this process, we guarantee you will experience meaningful, measurable change in your life. If you reach the end of your 6-month package and feel that nothing has shifted — and you can demonstrate that you did the work — we will continue working with you at no additional cost until you do.
This is not a marketing promise. It is a personal commitment from Samka and Tyler. We are not here to collect a fee and send you on your way. We are here because we believe in what this work can do — and we will not stop until you feel it too.
Booking Guidelines
How to Book
- •All sessions are booked through our online scheduling system
- •Sessions are available Monday through Friday
- •A confirmation email will be sent upon booking
- •Clients are encouraged to complete their session prep questions before each appointment
Session Types
- •One-on-One Coaching: 60–90 minutes
- •Free Clarity Call: 30 minutes (first-time clients only)
Payment
- •Per-session clients: payment is due at the time of booking
- •Package clients (6-month+): payment follows the terms of the signed package agreement
- •Collaboration Line members: monthly membership billed on a recurring basis
Cancellation & Rescheduling
24-Hour Policy
- •Cancellations or reschedules made more than 24 hours before the session — no charge, full flexibility to rebook
- •Cancellations or reschedules made less than 24 hours before the session — the full session fee applies and the session is forfeited
No-Shows
- •If a client does not show up within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time without prior notice, the session is considered a no-show
- •No-shows are charged the full session fee with no option to reschedule that session
Late Arrivals
- •If a client arrives late, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time
- •The remaining time will be used to its fullest, but the session will not be extended
Exceptions
- •In the case of a genuine emergency (medical, family, etc.), reach out to us as soon as possible and we will work with you on a case-by-case basis
- •Exceptions are at the discretion of Desert Roots Wellness and are not guaranteed
Package-Specific Rules
6-Month+ Package Clients
- •Sessions should be scheduled consistently (weekly or biweekly recommended)
- •Unused sessions do not roll over beyond the package term
- •A written pause request must be submitted at least 7 days in advance. One pause of up to 2 weeks is allowed per 6-month term
Collaboration Line Policy
What It Is
- •A direct support line for real-time, impartial guidance during life's biggest moments and critical decisions — both personal and business
- •Available to 6-month+ package clients (included free) or as a standalone add-on ($59/month)
Purpose & Intended Use
- •The Collaboration Line exists to give you convenient access to support during critical stages of growth — outside the hours of your regularly scheduled coaching sessions
- •It is designed for focused, decision-level moments: a gut-check before a hard conversation, clarity when you're stuck at a crossroads, or grounding when something unexpected hits
- •It is not a substitute for a full coaching session. Deep dives, breakthroughs, and structured work happen in your scheduled sessions — the Collaboration Line bridges the gaps between them
- •There is no specific usage cap, but the line works best when used with intention. If we notice the nature of conversations is consistently shifting toward full session-level depth, we'll have an honest conversation about whether adjusting your session frequency might serve you better
Availability & Response Times
- •The Collaboration Line is active 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily
- •We guarantee a response during operating hours
- •Wait times vary based on availability — we will always get back to you as soon as we can
- •Messages sent outside of operating hours will be addressed the following day during business hours
Communication Method
- •Primary communication is via text
- •If the situation warrants it, we will place a call — this is at our discretion based on the nature and urgency of the matter
- •Clients should not expect or request phone calls through the Collaboration Line; if a call is needed, we will initiate it
What It Covers
- •Personal decisions — boundaries, relationships, identity, life direction
- •Business decisions — leadership, team dynamics, strategy, pivots, family business challenges
- •Time-sensitive situations that can't wait until your next session
- •Quick gut-checks on conversations, next steps, or difficult moments
What It Does Not Cover
- •Legal advice — we are not attorneys and cannot provide legal guidance
- •Therapy or crisis intervention — we are not licensed therapists; if you are in crisis, please contact a mental health professional or call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline)
- •The Collaboration Line is not a replacement for scheduled coaching sessions — it is the bridge between them
- •It is not an open-ended conversation channel — it is designed for focused, decision-level support
Cancellation
- •Standalone memberships ($59/month) can be cancelled anytime before the next billing cycle
- •No partial-month refunds
- •Package clients retain access for the duration of their active package
Refund Policy
Per-Session Clients
All session fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to continue, your remaining sessions may be paused and resumed at a later date. Under adverse circumstances — such as a serious medical diagnosis, hospitalization, or death in the family — a partial refund may be considered at the sole discretion of Desert Roots Wellness.
Package Clients
All package payments are non-refundable. If you need to step away, your package can be paused and resumed when you are ready. Under adverse circumstances — such as a serious medical diagnosis, hospitalization, or death in the family — a partial refund may be considered at the sole discretion of Desert Roots Wellness.
30 Day Reset Program
All sales are final. Once purchased, the 30 Day Reset Program is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Collaboration Line
Monthly membership can be cancelled anytime before the next billing cycle. No partial-month refunds.
